By creating, posting, browsing, or interacting with any profile on Nakatha ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into marriage proceedings under the laws of Sri Lanka to post a proposal or use the Platform. Profiles found to misrepresent age or eligibility will be removed.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, including your name, age, photos, occupation, education, and any other details. Submitting false, misleading, or impersonated information is strictly prohibited.
You agree not to post or transmit content that is: fake, impersonated, or duplicated; sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate; harassing, abusive, threatening, or defamatory; intended for commercial solicitation, spam, or scams; or in violation of any applicable law. Profiles created for purposes other than a genuine marriage proposal are not permitted.
All profiles are subject to review by the Nakatha admin team, both before initial publication and on an ongoing basis afterward. Other members may submit a report against any profile they believe violates these Terms.
By posting a profile, you acknowledge and agree that the Nakatha admin team may, at its sole discretion and at any time — including as a result of a member report or its own review — deactivate, suspend, edit, or permanently remove your profile if it is found to violate these Terms or our community guidelines. This action may be taken without prior notice or explanation to the profile owner. Where reasonably possible, the admin team may attempt to notify you by email, but this is not guaranteed and is not a precondition for removal.
Reports submitted in bad faith, or with the intent to harass another member, are themselves a violation of these Terms.
Your phone number is kept private and is never displayed publicly; it is used only for internal notifications. Your email address is never displayed publicly and is used only to manage your profile and for the email-based inquiry system. Other members may only contact you through the inquiry/email feature on the Platform.
Nakatha is a platform for browsing and connecting with marriage proposals. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any profile, the intentions of any member, or any particular outcome (including marriage). You are responsible for exercising your own judgment, including verifying the identity and intentions of anyone you contact, before sharing further personal information or meeting in person.
You may request removal of your own profile at any time by contacting nakatha.info@gmail.com. Nakatha reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform for any user, at its discretion, for violations of these Terms.
Nakatha is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nakatha and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, including interactions with other members initiated through it.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
